1. Why would I rent from POP MOTORS?

Save time and money. You can have a great vehicle with a great price including the best insurance too. Our company is a family business for more than 30 years, and our aim is to give you our best service, to enjoy your holidays with our cars & scooters and to see you again the next year.

2. I asked for a price and they gave me an offer, is it complete, is there something extra? Do I need to pay any deposit?

In POP MOTORS the prices we have are complete and all inclusive. You can make a reservation without any deposit. You don’t need to have a credit card. You can pay the total price when you take your car/scooter on Crete. The price that you will pay when you take the vehicle is the price that we mentioned. There will not be any extra charges at the delivery. Being honest is very important for us.

3. What driving license do I need to rent a car, a scooter or a quad?

To rent a car you have to be at least 24 years old and you must have your car driving license for at least 2 years. To rent a scooter (50cc) you have to be at least 18 years and you must have scooter driving license (AM), or car driving license as long as your country belongs to EU. Of course you must have scooter driving experince. For bigger scooters you need A1/A2/A. To rent a big quad 300cc/400cc you must be 24 years old with normal car driving license. To rent a small quad 50cc/80cc you have to be 19 years old with normal car driving license. If your country does not belong to EU you have to change your driving license to International (you can ask your local police station for it).

4. Can you deliver a scooter/car to my hotel near Hersonissos?

We can make a free delivery and collection from your hotel near Hersonissos. The villages that we make free deliveries are:

  • Hersonissos
  • Anissaras
  • Stalida
  • Malia
  • Koutouloufari
  • Piskopiano
  • Old Hersonissos
  • Analipsis

In case your hotel is not in the villages above you can send us an e-mail to check if it is possible to make a delivery at your place.

There are a lot of things to see and a lot of trips to do here on Crete. When you rent from us we always give you a road map and we can mark on the map some nice trips to do with your vehicle such as going to traditional villages, sightseeing, beautiful beaches, etc.. You can also check some very nice destinations here.

Even though we normaly don’t make deliveries to Heraklion airport, please send us an e-mail about the days and the vehicle you would like to have and we inform you if it is possible to make the delivery to Heraklion airport.

There is a bus from Heraklion to Hersonissos (26 klm distance) every 30 minutes. The ticket is about 3,5€ each person. Our office is a few meters before bus stop no. 23 in Hersonissos (office name POP MOTORS). Feel free to visit us and give any information you like.

Unfortunately, Chania, Rethimnon or Agios Nikolaos are very far from our office in Hersonissos. We can only rent and deliver cars and scooters to Hersonissos and nearby villages. Any time you stay close to Hersonissos we will be happy to give our services.
